Pros
Very pigmented, doesn't feel heavy or drying on the lips, lots of nude shades.
Cons
Transfers easily, not long-lasting, most of the shades have cool undertones.
Summary
Overall, the NYX Slip Tease Full Color Lip Oil feels great on the lips, but the available shades did not work for my skin's warm undertones. The product wore off pretty quickly, and tends to slide around when eating or drinking. This product isn't necessarily advertised for its 'super staying power', but a lipstick's ability to last throughout the day is an important factor for me. I would not purchase this product again.

Product Details Vs. Actual Wear

Lightweight and luxurious feel.

I think one of the things that stands out most about this product when compared to typical matte lipsticks, is the way that it feels on your lips. It does, in fact, feel very lightweight, and isn't drying at all.

Pigment-rich shades

I bought the NYX Slip Tease Lip Oils in the shades 'Coy' which is a rosy pink, and 'Beyond Basic' , a light brown with cool undertones. The shades are highly pigmented, and I was able to get a good amount of color on the lips with only one swipe. Unfortunately, neither of these colors worked for me, likely due to the contrast in the warm undertones in my skin. 'Coy' appeared extremely bright and unflattering, while 'Beyond Basic' almost looked grayish on my lips.

Because I didn't want this purchase to be a complete waste, I tried using dark lip liner nearly all over the entire lip, and applied some of the lip oil in the center. This was a disaster as the product moved around quite a bit, and I was unable to get even coverage on my top and bottom lips. Bottom line - not easy to work with at all. If you find the right shade for you, I would recommend one swipe of product on the lips and allowing it to dry down.

NYX Slip Tease Full Color Lip Oil Reviews - Swatches

Glides on silky-smooth.

Absolutely! Because the formula is so lightweight, it does glide on the lips easily. But, as the colors I purchased didn't necessarily work for my skin tone, I tried to use a lip liner to help make them look a bit more natural on my lips. This was a disaster! The product moved around all over the place, became streaky, and I ended up having to re-apply a final layer, which again turned out to be a disaster. Overall, this product is best used alone, without the use of a liner as it's just too difficult to blend and work with. I think applying one single layer and letting it dry down would work best.

Satin-matte finish.

It does dry down to a satin-matte finish, which feels amazing on the lips. However, most satin-matte lipsticks are typically long-lasting, which this product was not. But, since advertised as a lip oil rather than a lipstick, I guess this shouldn't really be counted against the product.
