Product Details Vs. Actual Wear

Proven 24-hour staying power.

No one wears makeup for a full 24 hours (or at least they shouldn’t)! I believe Esteé Lauder used to advertise this as lasting for 14 hours, so I’m not sure what made them change this info. Does it last a full 14 hours? Absolutely. I’ve received compliments on my makeup after about 8 hours of wear!

Looks flawless and natural.

This is a big yes! The foundation doesn’t appear cakey on your skin, and gives your face a fresh and natural look while still blurring your imperfections. The formula is blendable however, so that if you’re looking for a more full-coverage look, you can always just apply more product.

 Feels lightweight and comfortable.

Another yes! Half the time I don’t even remember that I have makeup on, even if I’ve been wearing it for over 10 hours. It definitely doesn’t FEEL like you have product on the skin, which is nice for those of us that like to wear natural-looking and feeling makeup, versus that heavy YouTuber-type look!

Won’t change color, smudge or come off on clothes.

I bought Double Wear in the shade 7W1, which is advertised as deep spice. I would describe the color as a deeper brown with warm undertones. Before applying product from the bottle for the very first time, I thought it seemed VERY orange. Once blended out, it matched my skin tone perfectly, especially with my warm undertones. It does dry down slightly darker than the original color in the bottle, but this wasn’t a significant issue in my case.

Over the few months that I’ve been wearing this product (and this is now the ONLY foundation I regularly use), I’ve only noticed transfer on my clothes ONE time, and this was after an entire day’s wear of about 14 hours. However, I touch my face often throughout the day (not good, I know!) and would normally see a spot of brown/orange every once in a while on paperwork with other foundations, which is gross/embarrassing. I’ve never had this sort of transfer with this foundation, so the term ‘stay-in-place’ completely fits.

Lasts through heat and humidity.

Since I purchased this foundation in late September, and I live in Jersey, I don’t recall dealing with any excessive heat or humidity while wearing the product. However, I do have pretty oily skin, which will normally cause my makeup to run at some point during the day. This product stays put, and where I would typically have a lot of shine on my forehead and nose by the end of the day, I have very little shine just on the bridge of my nose. If I apply my Sacha Buttercup Setting Powder and Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray, I experience zero shine.
